Algery

The country of Algery, which is also known as Al Jaza’ir and Dzayer, is onw of the countries of the region of North Africa. The official name of the country is the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria. Algery has the status of being ranked second among all the countries with respect to size, which are a part of the continent of Africa. With respect to total are, it ranks eleventh among all the countries of the world. The country is surrounded by Tunisia, Libya, Niger, Mali and Mauritania, Morocco, a small part of the Western Sahara, and the Mediterranean Sea in the north east, east, south east, south west, west, North West, and the north respectively.

The country of Algery is a member of several organizations, such as the African Union, the Arab League, OPEC, and the United Nations. To create the Arab Maghreb League, Algery has also made some contributions. The country can be defined as a country which is Amazigh or Berber, Arab, and Islamic. This is a constitutional definition of Algery.

The terrain in the coastal areas of the country is mostly covered with hills, and there are some mountains as well as some natural harbors present as well. The land in the area which extends from the Tell Atlas to the coast is very fertile. There is a steppe landscape in the area which is due south of the Tell Atlas. This area comes to an end with the Saharan Atlas, and the Sahara Desert begins as you go further south. The mountains known as the Ahaggar Mountains, as well as the Hoggar, are situated at a distance of nine hundred and thirty two miles due south of the capital of Algery, which is Algiers, and due west of the Tamanghasset. It is in the central part of the Sahara where these mountains are present.
